DIY mid century modern sideboard first remove the kick boards from the bottom of the cabinet with a saw. Cut furring strips to fit along the front outer edges of the outer cabinets. Install metal foot plates on the outer corners on the bottom of the cabinets. Insert the five screws in each foot plate along the bottom edge of the chassis.
